Nashville, TN - 1 October 2009 - What do you get when you bring together five Christian women chock full of stories to tell,
five hilarious senses of humor, and five hearts deeply on fire for God? The Comedy Angels, of course!
This quintet of comediennes is the first all female comedy ensemble to have joined their comedic talents to create Comedy Angels,
their self-titled DVD, specifically and uniquely designed as an outreach for women to share the joy of Christ to life through stories.
The DVD will be available at Family Christian and LifeWay Stores, and will also be found in
Wal-Mart, Blockbuster, and other fine retailers.
Produced by Townsend Family Productions, the ladies who comprise the Comedy Angels are
Leslie Norris Townsend, Teresa Roberts Logan, Donna East, T. Marni Vos and Elissa Musumeci.
Sky Angel, one of the fastest-growing video-on-demand cable services in the country, will broadcast advertisements
for the DVD in the coming weeks. The network is also set to air Comedy Angels multiple times later this fall.
Promising to take their viewers from from laughter to tears with a church-clean yet club-funny mentality,
the Comedy Angels will motivate and mesmerize, promising to take the viewers to the height of hysterics.
